Origin
The founding concept
Professor Dr. Idi (Ras) Banamungu is the founder and original concept developer of KIBFMF and the founder of Laughter Percussion Academy (LPA). The fair grows from a belief that stories, style and sound together can open doors for creators in regional Australia.
Additional committee members, partners and collaborators are welcome; any future roles will be announced only once formally agreed.

Ownership & Governance
A Laughter Percussion Academy initiative
Owned and operated by Laughter Percussion Academy. Laughter Percussion Academy (LPA) is responsible for the fair and manages its brand and programmes. Professor Dr. Idi (Ras) Banamungu, founder and original concept developer of KIBFMF and founder of Laughter Percussion Academy.
Participation, not ownership
External authors, musicians, fashion designers, sponsors, collaborating organisations, volunteers and founding-membership purchasers are participants and supporters, not owners of the fair.
Participation, sponsorship or a founding-membership purchase does not confer equity, intellectual-property ownership or management control unless separately documented in a signed agreement.
Any commercial terms require written agreement. Intellectual-property rights depend on applicable law and contracts; this statement does not create or determine legally enforceable rights.
